Govt. College of Teacher Education,Thycaud conducted a 5 day workshop on “ICT for Education” from Nov 20 - Nov 26, 2013 with support of SPACE.The program, was attended by fifteen women Teacher educators and Research Scholars from across Kerala.

- Introduction to programming with Processing
- Production of education Animation with play dough & paper cuttings.

These sessions had really good impact on them, which is very well reflected in their feedbacks. One of them said “We had heard of the word -GNU/Linux Operating system. But did not even know what it was”. But this program literally motivated them that some of them installed their laptops with GNU/Linux OS on their own.
They were totally excited when they made animation clips (both programming and clay). Because They thought that these things could be made only by technocrats. “It was an incredible experience. I relived my childhood days ” - one teacher commented. Another teacher said “I never thought that I too can make an animation”.
