EdICT2010, an international conference on enabling access to education through ICT is being held at New Delhi from 27 to 29 October, 2010 by Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) in cooperation with the Global Initiative for Inclusive ICT (G3ICT), a flagship advocacy organization of the UN Global Alliance on ICT and Development (UN-GAID), the International telecommunications Union (ITU), Digital Empowerment Foundation, SPACE and the Deafway Foundation.
The conference will examine technologies and practices adopted in various countries to make education accessible to children with disabilities. Distance and online education are key areas that will be explored at the conference.
